Heavy-Duty Industrial Blowers Fans
by Oleg Checthel | October 15, 2009
Category: Business / Management
In the axial flow ventilator the air must blow in line with the axis of rotation and there must be blades with space between them. With few exceptions, the axial blower or fan must not have a lot of back pressure and will work a lot better if the blade is shrouded.

High Pressure Regenerative Blowers
by Oleg Chetchel | October 13, 2009
Category: Business
Compressor specifications to consider when selecting regenerative blowers include: maximum free air delivery, maximum pressure, and motor power. Free air delivery (FAD) is the actual air produced by the compressor pump at the rated pressure.

Centrifugal Blowers for Industrial Processes
by Oleg Checthel | October 09, 2009
Category: Business / Presentation
Centrifugal ventilator has a number of blades mounted around the hub, which turns on a shaft that passes through the housing. A Centrifugal fan can come in three different types of fan blades. They can come with forward curved blades, backward curved blades and straight radial blades.

High Pressure Side Channel Blowers
by Siouzanna Terlitskaia | October 08, 2009
Category: Business / Outsourcing
Regenerative blowers are oilless and have no complicated intake/exhaust valving. Most can be mounted in any plane and, with dynamically balanced impellers, generate little vibration. Because they are nonpositive displacement compressor/vacuum pumps, they discharge air that is clean.

Blowers and Fans for Industrial Applications
by Oleg Checthel | October 08, 2009
Category: Business / Solo Professionals
The flow and pressure properties are the main differences between a fan and a blower. While fans deliver air in an overall direction that is parallel to the fan blade axis, blowers deliver air in a direction that is perpendicular to the blower axis. Hence, fans can be configured to deliver a high flow rate, working against low pressure while blowers to deliver a relatively low flow rate against high pressure. Centrifugal blowers can be squirrel cage type, have a forward curved wheel or a backward curved wheel.

Selection of Right Axial Fan for Ventilation
by Siouzanna Terlitskaia | October 07, 2009
Category: Business / Customer Service
The air delivering capacity of axial flow fans ranges from 100 to 500,000 cubic feet per minute (3,000 to 15,000 cubic meters per minute). Impellers usually have blades with airfoil cross-sections.

Industrial Ventilators and Blowers
by Oleg Chetchel | October 06, 2009
Category: Business
Industrial blowers are mainly used to circulate the movement of air and gas in ventilation applications. Their main function is to replace impure or contaminated air with fresh air by swirling it around.

Ventilation by Forced Draft
by Oleg Chetchel | October 02, 2009
Category: Business / Productivity
Forced ventilation is used to control indoor air quality. Excess humidity, odors, and contaminants can often be controlled via dilution or replacement with outside air. However, in humid climates much energy is required to remove excess moisture from ventilation air.

Inline FRP Fans and Ventilators
by Oleg Checthel | October 02, 2009
Category: Home Improvement / Bath and Shower
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) provide the desired non-corrosive quality to the fan blades, resulting the operation of fans even in the very aggressive environment. Lightweight FRP fans also ensure a low moment of inertia, minimum wear & stress on motor, bearing and drive system.

Roof Ventilators by Canada Blower
by Siouzanna Terlitskaia | October 01, 2009
Category: Business / Productivity
Proper ventilation requires that there be a movement or circulation of the air within the space and that the temperature and humidity be maintained within a range that allows adequate evaporation of perspiration from the skin. It was formerly believed that the discomfort, headache, and lethargy.

Ventilators, Fans and Blowers
by Oleg Chetchel | September 30, 2009
Category: Reference and Education / Science
Centrifugal blowers come in a number of forms of which the most common is the squirrel cage blower. The common factor is the air is moving perpendicular to the axis of the part that is moving the air. Typically, the air is drawn in through the side of the unit.

Large Air Curtains for Industrial Applications
by Oleg Checthel | September 26, 2009
Category: Business / Productivity
The most effective air curtain for containing heated or cooled air inside a building with an open door will have a high face velocity at the opening, generated by top-down flow, recovered by a recirculating air plenum and duct return to the source fans.
